IT IS POSSIBLE!! Here’s the trick. You have to install a remote desktop app that allows you to play Farmville or any other Facebook or Flash game on your PC remotely over the iPhone.
The app you need to buy is the LogMeIn Ignition app from here:http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=299616801&mt=8
Its expensive for an iPhone app at $30 but allows you to access your PC or Mac remotely from your iPhone anywhere. Download and install the app then download and install their free PC access client on your computer.
You can then log in to your home computer on your phone from anywhere as long as you have either 3G or WiFi. It works surprisingly well! Then just load up your web browser remotely on your PC and head on over to farmville.
Some tips:
The remote PC’s mouse cursor stays fixed in the center of your iphone screen, so you scroll the PC’s desktop _under_ the mouse cursor then tap on the screen to click on something– Sounds strange but once I played with it a while and got used to it I could fly though the game.
Pinch to zoom in on the desktop.

Computer security firm Intego has identified the first known truly malicious code which targets jailbroken iPhones with default root passwords.
The malware scans for phones on a given network with an open SSH port, then attempts to log in using the default root password that is the same on all iPhones.
Non-jailbroken iPhones are completely unaffected by this malware. Jailbroken iPhones without OpenSSH installed are not vunerable.
Learn how to change your default passwords here.

The Dev Team has just released PwnageTool 3.1.4 for Mac OS X. This release supports the 3.1.2 iPhone software for the following devices: iPhone 2G/3G/3GS and iPod Touch 1G/2G.
- The iPhone 3GS is now supported out of the box in PwnageTool 3.1.4 (or if you have upgraded to 3.1.x in iTunes)
- The iPod 2G is still supported in PwnageTool 3.1.4 but you must already be jailbroken (we’ll update this if there’s a big demand from non-jailbroken ipt2G owners)
- The iPod touch 3G is NOT supported
For the full details please visit the Dev Teams blog and read carefully!

3G Unrestrictor is a $2 app on the Cydia store that enables jailbroken iPhone users to select any app that they wish to use over 3G, including Skype and SlingPlayer.
More importantly (to me anyway) App Store and iTunes Store’s 10MB download limit on the 3G network can be disabled allowing direct download of ALL media and games availble directly to the device!

redsn0w is an easy to use, multi-platform, multi-device jailbreaking and unlocking (iPhone 2G only) tool for the iPhone 2G (original iPhone), the iPhone 3G (but not the 3GS) and also the iPod touch (first and second generation). Currently it is available for Windows and Mac OS X (there are some issues using redsn0w with OS X PPC, please use an Intel Mac until we have this problem resolved).
REDSN0W PROVIDES SIMILAR FUNCTIONALITY TO QUICKPWN.

Please note that not all jailbreak apps work 100% or are stable on OS 3.0 because they need to be updated for the new operating system.
Some that seem to be working fine are:
Working somewhat inconsistently (try at your own risk):
- iRealSMS
- SBSettings
- Winterboard

With the preview of iPhone OS 3.0 on March 17th and Apple’s recent saber-rattling about Jailbreaking violating the DMCA, I can’t help but worry about its long term legal future now that Apple has seemed to satisfy most, if not all of your iPhone needs with the 3.0 software.
If Jailbreaking only gives an iPhone owner the ability to run pirated apps and break your cellular carrier’s contract by, for example, allowing tethering without contract and VOIP calls over 3G with little legitimate uses, it would be easy to believe there would be no sympathy from lawmakers, copyright officials, and the public in general if Apple would take legal action against anyone involved in the Jailbreaking Business.
One thing is for sure, it will be an interesting year.
And, as always, this is just my opinion..
Some major iPhone 3.0 fixes that will interest jailbreakers:
- Cut, Copy and Paste
- MMS
- System Wide Search
- Turn by Turn GPS Support
- Teathering
- Landscape Keyboard in all Applications
- Text Message Forwarding and Deleting
- Stereo Bluetooth A2DP support
- Push Notifications
For now, Jailbreaking will still give you:
- Themes, Wallpaper, Custom Icons, Etc..
- Run Background Processes (somewhat unreliable)
- Categories and folders
- Video Recording (may be possible under 3.0)
- Tethering without extra cost
- Lack of options for things such as ringers and tones.
- Lock screen notifications for email, weather, news, etc..
