Jailbreaking will sometimes fail with too many 3rd Party Apps Installed
Posted on 2009 under Help, Jailbreaking, Uncategorized | 3 Comments

I’ve found from much trial and error that having a bunch iPhone 3rd App Store apps installed when you try to jailbreak the phone will cause the phone to hang up in a state of constant reboot.
To avoid this simply remove the apps before jailbraking by unchecking the Sync Applications checkbox in iTunes and pressing the ‘Sync’ Button to remove the apps. Run Quickpwn and the phone should jailbreak fine, then reinstall your apps by re-checking the Sync Applications box and syncing with iTunes to reinstall the apps, new apps can be downloaded and installed just as before jailbreaking the iPhone.
